Saturday 14th September from 9am Henley and District Agricultural Association Show, at the Henley Showground, Hambledon, near Henley on Thames, Oxon RG9 3AS.  Four rings of horse events, Sheepshow, falconry, livestock and poultry, classic cars and vintage tractors, simply a fabulous family day out.  Check it out on www.thehenleyshow.co.uk.


Thursday  26th September from 10am to 11.30 am at Sheene Mill, Station Road, Melbourn, Cambridgeshire.  Enjoying a coffee and a chat with friends is an easy way to help raise money to fund the valuable Macmillan services,  A lovely range of quality stalls in a very pretty venue.


Friday 27th September (private event) Kimbolton School Parents Association Macmillan Coffee Morning, Kimbolton School near Huntingdon.


Saturday 28th September, the Gransden and District Agricultural Society 117th annual Show, from 9am at Great Gransden, south of Cambridge.  A spectacular family day out with all the attractions of a well established country show. check it out on www.gransdenshow.co.uk.

Saturday and Sunday 5th and 6th October The National Trust Ickworth House Wood Fair, Ickworth House, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP29 5QE from 10 am to 5pm.  The 30th annual fair, with  very varied attractions such as steam powered saw mill, chainsaw wood carvings, story rent, wood and craft fair, plenty of food stals as well as Ickworth House and grounds, with morning and afternoon tours.  A splendid day out. www.facebook.com/IckworthNT.
